Consider the original Space One when you want over-ear ANC, app EQ and two-device connections. The decision turns on how those features work together, not just the cancellation percentage on the listing. Its most useful limits concern LDAC, source switching and which battery mode you plan to use.

Read the Voice-Reduction Claim With Its Footnote

Soundcore advertises twice the voice reduction of its own Q30, alongside a noise-reduction percentage measured under laboratory conditions. That comparison is a manufacturer claim against a specified older model; it does not establish a ranking against Sony or Bose, or tell you how a nearby conversation will sound through your particular fit. Treat voice reduction as something to evaluate during the return period. Try the room and voices that bother you at your normal listening volume. A percentage without an equivalent test for the alternative cannot decide the purchase by itself.

Two Connected Devices, One Media Source

Soundcore's support page distinguishes the original Space One from Space One Pro. The original continues with the device that began media playback first, rather than allowing a second media source to take over immediately. That makes a phone-and-laptop routine useful without making it automatic in every situation. During setup, try your actual sequence: laptop audio, a phone call, ending the call, then switching media sources. LDAC Changes the Setup

Begin with ordinary two-device use working, then decide whether a different codec is worth changing that arrangement. A supported codec on the box does not guarantee that every feature remains available under every setting. Nor does it establish an audible improvement in your environment.

For Android, check both the phone's codec support and the soundcore app setting. If your phone does not support LDAC, its presence here should carry no weight in your decision. Compare Battery in the Right Mode

Comfort and Calls Need Separate Checks

An over-ear description does not guarantee that the pads surround your particular ears comfortably. Try your usual glasses, headband adjustment and seated posture. For calls, make a short recording in the software you actually use. Listen for missing words and background noise, and check what happens when you turn your head. Having ANC for the listener does not establish the quality of the outgoing microphone signal.
